I'm back!

Another update:
Hey everyone, it's been a long year! I have been working my butt off at a lousy McDonalds and taking Advanced Placement classes in school, so my hopes for having a blog kind of got lost in the whirlwind of other parts of my life. My mom also had another baby, and so I am now the proud big sister of three younger brothers (: like I said, my life has been a bit of a whirlwind. This year specifically keeping work balanced with school has been challenging. After getting a low grade on a physics mid-term ( I had 24 hours that week!) I was fed up and quit my job. Not the best choice, because now I am in a horrible rut with money. From reading my biography some readers may draw the conclusion that I want to travel, and those readers are right. I have actually been planning a trip to Thailand and various other places for after my highschool graduation. However, I only have saved up 3,500 dollars. I am a senior in highschool and college is right around the corner. I'm very tempted to not go on the trip at all and just spend the money on clothes, dorm room accessories and other supplies I will need for college. Doing that however, would give me a guilty conscience... In my mind an experience is more valuable than any material item, and life should be full of new experiences. I really do think the trip would be worth every penny. That's the big problem though, every penny would be well spent, but spent. I would be broke after the trip and I feel like I will need money more than ever in college..
I'm open to advice (:
